Taylor
Lead Registered Veterinary Technician, Fear Free Certified
Taylor has been working as a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2013. Her favorite part about working at Apple Valley is getting to know our patients and clients, and anyone who has met her knows she has a special knack for making both owners and pets feel comfortable in our care! Taylor loves spending time with her family--whether it's cheering on her kids' in community sports games or playing outside on the weekends. Something you might not know about her is that she is part of an AVID football family! Her son plays football and her family watches Carolina Panthers games together throughout the fall.
Taylor and her family share their home with their cats Tapoco and Raven.

Marcos
Registered Veterinary Technician
Marcos joined the Apple Valley Animal Hospital team in August 2021. He graduated from AB Tech in 2018. Marcos has always enjoyed being around animals since a young age and enjoys giving them the care that they need in order to live a long happy life. He loves to work outside with his dogs, go on long runs, experience new food and flavors, and play soccer.
Marcos and his wife share their home with 2 dogs, Kiro and Saya, and his cat named Kitty.

Meghan
Registered Veterinary Technician
Meghan graduated from AB-Tech in 2013 and spent four years working as a vet tech in Pennsylvania. It didn't take her long to realize that she missed the mountains and friendly Appalachians too much and found her way back to NC and Apple Valley Animal Hospital. Meghan loves helping people care for their pets. She has a passion for providing client education and sharing tips and tricks with pet owners.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring new hiking trails, exploring new craft ideas, and having movie nights with friends. Meghan lives with one spoiled cat named Kira.

Chloe
Veterinary Technician
Chloe started with the Apple Valley Family as veterinary assistant. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program from AB Tech in 2025. She has always loved helping animals in need since she was young and enjoys seeing them happy.
Outside of saving animals, she enjoys spending time outside, crafting, and photography. She has two dogs named Daisey and Jack, a cat named Kitty, and lots of chickens.

Alicia
Veterinary Assistant, Fear Free Certified
Alicia has been in the veterinary field for almost 10 years. Her favorite things about working here is watching patients grow up, helping them feel better, and helping a nervous pet feel more comfortable about their visit to the vet. In her spare time, Alicia enjoys training her dogs, running in 5k's, and reading. A fun fact about Alicia is that she has trained her dogs for therapy and service work in the past.
Alicia shares her home with three cats, Ryddle, Poe, and Oogie Boogie and two dogs, a husky mix named Toriel and a Doberman named Cider.

Amanda
Veterinary Assistant
Amanda has been an assistant with us since October of 2019. Her favorite part about working here is the ability to help our patients and learn more about the veterinary field. In Amanda's free time, she enjoys reading, camping, hiking, and going to the beach.
Amanda shares her home with her Rottweiler named Ripper, her Boston Terriers named Jango and Obi, her African Grey Raiden, and her bearded dragon named Azazel.

Ashley
Veterinary Assistant, Fear Free Certified, Social Media Coordinator
Ashley has been one of our veterinary assistants since 2017. She loves to learn from Taylor whenever she can. Her favorite part about working at Apple Valley is improving the lives of animals every day and being able to make a difference. In her free time, Ashley loves to play with her dog, Nala, as well as sing and tend to her plants. Something you may not know about her is that she was a music major before finding her passion in veterinary medicine. While performing will always be a loved hobby of hers, caring for animals gives her a drive and happiness unmatched by anything else.
Ashley and her family share her home with her rambunctious dudley lab Nala and sweet shih-tzu Jenna.

Tiffany
Veterinary Assistant
Tiffany joined our team in January 2024 as a veterinary receptionist and is now a veterinary assistant! The things she enjoys the most about working here are the ability to help animals and learn new things every day. In her free time, Tiffany loves watching her favorite shows, crafting, and spending time with her family.
Tiffany and her husband, Keith, share their home with her two pitbulls named Shelby and Mercy, their boxer named Peter Quill, and her three cats, Bubbles, Luke Skywhiskers, and Lucy.

Camryn
Client Service Representative
Camryn joined our team in August 2023 as a veterinary receptionist. She enjoys meeting all the precious animals and helping their owners better understand how to care for their pets, physically and mentally!
In her free time, Camryn likes to enjoy the outdoors with her dogs, ride horses, and travel. Camryn is a strong advocate of spay/neuter and "adopt, don't shop!" She shares her home with her six rescue dogs, Honey, Moo, Rusty, Macon, Bonnie, and Johnny.

Megan
Client Service Representative
Megan has been working as a veterinary receptionist for over six years, and she absolutely loves being the friendly face that welcomes pets and their people. Originally from sunny Florida, she moved to beautiful North Carolina with her husband and their little animal crew: Wilson, a spirited wiener dog; Asher, a sweet and goofy pit bull; and Ivy, the calm and curious ball python.
Her passion for animals started when she was just a kid, and she feels lucky to have turned that love into a career. Whether she's helping schedule appointments, comforting a nervous pet parent, or sneaking in some puppy cuddles between calls, she is always happy to be part of a team that puts animals first..

Office Manager
April came to our team in October of 2020 with many years of administrative experience in the veterinary field. Her favorite part of working at Apple Valley Animal Hospital is not just working with the animals but the family aspect and connection to the community as well. In April's free time, she loves hiking, camping, and traveling with her family as well as cooking and drawing.
She shares her home with two cats named Lord Dinkles and Jet, and two rats named Doja Rat and Mice Spice.
